are you lowered? if so, its probably gonna have to tuck back to fit right without rubbing.

go with the 255/35, as it will be the closest to the stock tire diameter, so it wont throw off your speedometer

Will the following wheels and tires fit on the RX8? I'm planning to lower the car by about an inch soon.

Buddy Club QF 17x9 et +63 front and rear wheels on Toyo RA1's or Nitto NT01's (255/40/17)

with the 9 inch width, a 35 may work, im running 19x9.5 with a 40 offset, 255/35 19. rears just barely fit. also, the rear camber is just over -3.

stock tire height 25.97

option 1 is 25.47 inches
option 2 is 25.75 inches
option 3 is 26.08 inches

a 4th option is 255/35 19, which would be 26.02

the 4th option would be the best, as it is the closest to the stock tire height (which means the speedo will be correct) and actually fit the wheel the best as well.

In addition to the speedo being correct, your warranty will not run out faster.

Consider these two setups:

1. Front: 19x8.5 +40mm 235/40/19 tires
Rear: 19x9.5 +40mm 275/35/19 tires

2. F&R: 19x9.5 +40mm 255/35/19 tires

Car is dropped on Tein H-Tech.

Will either setup fit with no fender mod? Which one is more suitable for street? Will option 2 save me more money on tires in the long run (due to tire rotation)?

Well to start I have no idea about rims and tires so any help is greatly appreciated. I am looking into getting a set of 18x7.5" Enkei Evo 5's and was just making sure they will fit. The site I am going through says they will fit but I just wanted to make sure. Also The offset I was going to get was +45. I just want to make sure everything will fit before I order. Tires I am not sure on yet, so any help there is great too!

2. Yes. With that offset, you will definately want to be able to rotate tires front to rear, as you are going to have to run about 3.2 degrees of negative camber.

They will fit no problem, as the wheels are narrower than the factory wheels. If you are going for performance, get something a little wider than stock, like 8.5 or so. If you are getting these due to looks or price, and are not so worried about performance, go for it.

I didn't even realize you have a setup of 19x9.5 +40 255/35/19. Your setup looks really nice on your car.

Anyway, I see that you decided to run some -3.2° of camber (both front and rear?). If you rolled your fenders, would you be able to run stock alignment specs? I'm asking because I don't want to get an alignment done every time I swap out my winter wheels for summer wheels and vice versa. If the wheels will clear the rolled fenders (both front and rear, I assume?), I think I may as well do the mod so that I can stick with the stock alignment settings.

even hardcore road racers don't run that much rear camber, that's just a poor band-aid for not buying the proper offset wheels

Will 17x9 +43 for front and rear with a Falken RT-615 275/40-17 fit without rolling fenders.

The car is not lowered right now, but might be lowered a inch to a inch in a half soon. The wheels and tire combo will only be used for track days.

That should fit, but a 255/40-17 will probably be a better tire to pair with that width of wheel. Lighter, smaller overall diameter (which improves acceleration) and cheaper as well. Unless you're running FI, a 255 ought to be plenty of tire for you.

the offset they have avaible are +27 +32 +37 which one of those would be good running in the font.

I'm looking to order a set of front and rear 18x9 wheels with a +35mm offset, and run 265/35/18 Nexen N3000 tires on them. Right now the car is stock ride height but I plan on lowering it with Tein S-Techs.

Am I looking into doing some fender rolling or will this work without rubbing?

There is no other option for offset in the 9" wide size so if this doesn't work I'll be looking for new wheels.

gonna have to roll the fenders or run some serious negative camber.

I'm okay with rolling the fenders, I'm just afraid they'll stick out too much and rolling the fenders won't work.

Also, would running a more narrow tire remove the risk of rubbing or is it more down to the width of the wheel and the offset in question?

They offer the same wheel in an 8.5" with a lot more offset options, I'm just not sure I want to do an 8.5.

I haven't found many people running a 9" wide wheel. I've found countless using an 8.5" with no problem, and a 9.5" with no problem, but not many 9".

Lame.

I have a 9.5 with a +28mm offset and they do not rub after rolling them.

So if a 9.5 is good - then a 9 should be good also; plus your offset is higher than mine.

I've been wanting to run this for a while so let me know will it have any rubbing issues? If it will what setup can i go with that will leave me with the least fender gap without rubbing and I want it to near flush with the fenders.
