18x9+33 -VS- 18x9.5+10 How would these fair? From my knowledge it seems to me like the first option is a little less aggressive and might need slight fender work? and second would have me poking a ton and need quite a bit of fender work? I could be horribly wrong which is why i' m here. What do y'all think. How would these look. Please Base off stock height just for an easy representation.

The second option would have alot of poke even if lowered to the floor i believe. Thats a very aggressive stance.. I would say go for the first one definitely.

I'm personally going staggered.

F: 18x8.75 +20
R: 18x9.75 +20

on Meganracing coilovers.. All my parts should be in next week or so.. i will keep everyone updated.

yeah i agree but the x9 +33 looks awful. the x9.5 +10 has a deep concave look which is magnificent.

do you have pictures of the wheels you want?

and I would personally go with something in the middle then. Try looking at 9.75 +20 or 9.5 +20... it should sit very nicely!

Will 18x9 or 9.5 +35 with 265/45 tires fit? Also, which would work better?

What wheel and tire setup would you suggest then? The care already had the wheels, so I was going to try and keep them if they worked

The car already had the wheels but you are asking about 2 different kinds of wheels? What?

Just post what you actually have and we will go from there.

You need a 35 series tire at that width to keep the diameter close to the same

I am looking at buying wheels and was looking at 18x9 and 18x9.5, but didn't know which would look better, and I was hoping that the tires that i already have would work, but it sounds like they won't, so would you suggest a 245/35 for those size wheels?

I have a completely stock 2010 R3. Will a 255/35 with the factory 19" all the way around create any issues? Thanks

Will a 19x10 +42 rim with 285/35r19 fit in the rear, without serious camber? I'm planning to lower ~1inch

With 225/40 tires lowered on coilovers?? 👍? 👎?

Roll the fenders? Roll and pull in the back for the +12??

Let me know what you guys think thanks.

Lowered on springs about 1.75" from stock. Soon to be coil overs.
Wheels
F: 18x9.75 + 20
R: 18x9.75 + 20

Tires
F: 265-??-18
R:265??-18
Not sure what tires would fit the wheels without stretching.

You will have fender issues...will need to be rolled pretty hard

You could go with 255-35-18 to 275-35-18 and they will fit the rims ok...maybe even 245's. The issue will be the fenders

My rims are 18x9.5, and 255's fit on them with zero stretch; see pics earlier in this thread (like a page or two back). I doubt a quarter-inch more width on your rims will add any stretch.

My 25mm spacers effectively changed my offset from +45mm to +20mm, - but even with extreme fender rolling with a professional fender rolling tool, plus a little flaring, plus hacking out a bunch of the internal fender-well insulation and chopping off the rear bumper tabs, I still had a little rubbing. I just switched to 20mm spacers, making my effective offset +25mm, and now I have no rubbing at all whatsoever. This is with a 0.7" drop in the rear, although it doesn't even rub when my shocks bottom out so a lower drop probably won't hurt.

Just so everyone knows, if you have a 09-11 R3 version, you can put 255/35R19 on there with no issues all the way around. I am using the factory 19" wheels btw!

I wouldn't suggest putting 255/35R19 onto a 19x8 wheel. Those wheels are too narrow for that width tire. You also won't be using the whole contact patch of the tire due to the crowning shape you are forcing the tire into. Unless your specific model tire states that a 8" wide wheel is within the manufacturer's guidelines, it isn't a good idea.

The contact on the tire is actually really good and gets to the edge of the shoulder in hard cornering. I also serves good as an extra little protection as a rim guard.

That is some hella stretch - are you trying to sit ultra-low and have poke or something?

Im sure this has already been covered in the 101 pages, but i couldn't find anything. I'm looking at a set of MB Battles and i was wondering if these specs will fit:
Front: 18x9.5 Offset: 15
Rear: 18x9.5 Offset: 23
Will these offsets work? and have proper clearances?
Also plan on wrapping them with some tires, not sure brand yet but
Front: 245/35r18
Rear: 265/35r18

Will this fit? :D Thanks in advance!!
