I think we can stop talking about offset now. Its just going to keep confusing people.
Good point. In that case, I confused myself. You have corrected me Ngo, thank you, for that, no harm taken.

I will try to attempt an explanation again... um, but only when I am educated on this knowledge.

A friend of mine is selling his 2 piece work meister s1's, and I was thinking of buying them. The specs are 18x9.5 +25 all the way around with 245/35/18. Will this work with some fender rolling?

yes they will work easily. I too have a set of work meisters, but they are far more aggressive.

Thanks for the heads-up.

After discussion with a friend, here's the config we've come up with:

Front 18x8.5 +31, 235/40/R18
Rear 18x9.0 +35, 265/35/R18

How will they fit?

TIA

Same as before, If you wanna know how they look like you have to search and find pics of that offset. But I think it should be pretty good

Can i put 275-35-18 safely on 18x9 +30? What about with a +25 offset? I really like that agressive look. Any help would be appreciated

Please forgive if this was asked previously

I did try multiple searches on this thread to see if it came up. It probably has but I couldn't locate it, so I'm sorry for asking what I am sure was asked previously.

That being said:
OEM rims 245/40-18 F & R

I'm confident of clearance in the rear; but not 100% sure about the front. This would be a daily driver, not just a track fit. The main tyre, in case it makes a difference, that I'm considering is the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S PINNA RFT (If the tyre doesn't make a difference, I'm sorry. I wasn't attempting to threadjack.).

plenty people have put 245/40/18's on OEM rims. considering how much clearance there is on the stock rim, there is no problem.

Searching seems to confirm that a 18x8.5 +30mm will fit the front but will it also fit the back?

18x8.5 +30 with 245/40/18 fit all four wheel wells with an Tein S-Tech drop?

It will fit. You'll may rub the fender liner up front, but that's not a big deal for most. Rear will fit fine as long as you have a little camber.

Hey guys, I'm planning on getting some 18X8 rims to put on my 225/45/18 tires, would it be better to get a 40 offset or 48 offset?

Alright big question. I noticed that Rotora offers a 6 piston front big brake kit, and vivid racing says it'll fit the RX-8 http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/r...07-p-6852.html . I also noticed that there's no rear brake kit under the RX-8 category but a very similar rear brake kit exists for the FD RX-7 http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/r...2-p-21382.html . It LOOKS like it should fit, but looks can be deceiving. Also what kind of wheel (black, 18 or 19" and wider than stock) would fit this brake set up?

That's not a common setup, heck I've seen like 2 people with that bbk. Call up the manufacturer and ask them.

how about:
18x8.5 +35 Front
18x9.5 +35 Back

with 255/40/18's will they sit flush? will i need to roll?
or will 275/35/18's fit with just 18x9.5 +35? (all the way around)

oh, also the car is lowered about 1.7" in the front and 1" drop in back.

thanks in advance.
