That's in the realm of make it fit. That doesn't fit at all.

If it's cost then i can't imagine a company would punish you with a bigger price tag from going up half an inch from an 8.5 set.

I just bought this rx8 and it has brand new 225/45/18's on it and the max size rim for those is the 18x8.5 and I found a wheel I like with the 25 offst, I just don't want to do any mods to make them fit.

you can stretch the tires a 225 on a 10.5 is a lot of stretch but it can be done. if you roll the rear you will have no problems there with a little camber the front will be your issue, i ran a 255 on my 10.5's in the rear with +22 offset front will require more work like i said before.

That's about an inch away from "fitting". When you try to have poke then it doesn't fit. You force it to fit.

edit: Poke is the devil. I don't help people become friends with the devil.

18x9.5 +23, 245-40-18

I'm assuming I will need a roll and bumper tab shave, I'm having a hard time finding any resources on shaving the tab, I've tried the search and haven't found much, any secret thread I am missing?

I took a rotary tool to mine and it did the trick. If you don't know what you are looking for just put the wheels on you'll find it lol

Just noticed they offer +30 offset as well would that be a better option? Dont want to be too aggressive.
