Will It Fit Thread
I almost forgot about them, though, because they've been sitting on the side for so long. Of course, now that the weather's starting to get in the snow range, it's time for them again..
Well, I didn't buy those tires, they were what was originally on it.
Got a spare set of OEM wheels, as well as a decent set of Falkens(The 245/40/18's), so I can just swap them out as need be, and not need to have them re-mounted or anything.
I mean, if you don't believe me, so be it. I got them on the cheap.
I haven't ran the Kumho's in quite a while, thus why I forget about them sometimes.

All I know is, they fit on my 8, even when fully dropped, and work better in the snow than my Falkens. They're just what the person who owned them before me bought and had on the car, and they stuck with the 45 series sidewall.Anywho..
Ok I posted on here a while back. New set up.
Rims: 19x8.5 +15
tires: 245/35/r19
Megan lowering springs -1.8 front -1.5 rear
Will I have to get a smaller tire and stretch and camber like crazy or can I make this setup work?

245/40 or 245/35 on 18x10.5 ET15 wheels? Will these rub on the metal that is behind the fender liner? (rear side of the tire) Front fenders have been rolled, liners gutted, and I'm on PowerTrix coil overs. My stock wheels with 225/45 and 25mm spacers rub on that piece during full lock turns. I'll cut it out if I have to to prevent rubbing, just thought I'd ask first. I'm planning on running -2.5 to -3 camber in the front.

245/35 on 10.5 rims? Is there even enough side wall to stretch that far? Lol. It will look sick cambered! If you do it I gotta see pictures!
J,
I apologize for forgetting the offset. My original post was different and didn't need the offset info as it pertained only to the height of the tire from the rims edge. I will edit my original post and add the offset.

Stock 18 inch wheels with stock rubber + 25mm spacers lowered 2 inches all around(Megan springs + Koni yellows) Any tab shaving or fender rolling required? I planned on at least having the fenders rolled.
Why do you want to stretch the tire so much? I doubt the 10" wide will fit anyways. The front will be fine but the rear will be sticking out and you will look like a tool...
Thanks for the reply NewKid. The specs I listed were from a photoshoot done for this wheel and tire dealer http://www.wheeldude.com/wordpress/tag/rx8
I was unsure if they sold non-staggered setups so I listed the specs for these, which were the closest I could find to what I wanted. http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=6512
Looking at their Faq section now, it appears they do indeed sell individual wheels. So I guess my real concern now is with the offset. I would like to go 19x8.5 +30 all around. Do you think the +30 all around would cause an 8 to look funny? BTW any recommendations for tire specs? Taking into account that the offset will work fine that is.... Thanks for the help!
