Hey!

I´m new here. I´m from Sweden and need some professonial help with my wheels.
I plan to go with Work VS KF 18" on my Rx-8.
Front: 18x10" 235/35
Rear: 18x10,5" 235/35
I´m going to use Stance Gr+ Coilovers to almost put it on the ground..
My questions is, will it fit with some fender rolling? Since I want lower quite much i´ve chosen to go with the above named tires.. I know that it will be stretchy..
Opinions? I dont know anything about offsets, so what will my offsets be?
Here is one rx-8 with the level of lowering that i want..

http://www.stanceiseverything.com/20...e-place-to-be/

Thank you

Furthermore im looking for a big lip size, does that have anything to do with the offsets?

I'm not going to look up those wheels and tell you the offset to pick. The tires are stretched way too much, the tire profile (35) is wrong for that size, and you can't get an aggressive look with just a fender roll. You will need to permanently cut some stuff off your car to go aggressive and look good. Yes offsets will help determine lip size on that wheel. There should be a chart that has wheel width, offset, and the lip size that goes with them.

yeah i got offered a set of +20 from a friend for 750 but i don't wanna really get too involved and would like to have something more streetable. i was told a +25 would fit without any real adjustments. that black 8 somewhere near my last post looks sick, but i bet it goes through tires pretty fast

First off I don't know a good reason to spend more than $5 on 5mm spacers. Next, it should fit fine. I'd put the tires on first and then figure out how much spacer you need. Lastly, I'd want 275/35 but that willinvolve more than a fender roll.

CA New Rims for me

Hey guys i just bought my WWP RX8 last week and i really want to throw it on some black rims. The rims im gonna go with are XXR 521's im just not sure of what size i should get, i want my care to look full and i dont want my tires to look that skinny. I dont want to go staggered cause then i cant rotate will it look bad with 18x8.5's and lowered on tein s tech's. or is it possible to fit 18x10's all around?
Any suggestions?

heres the link for the rims: http://www.xxrwheels.com/xxr_521.shtml

wheels: XXR 521's 18x8.5 25mm (option 1)
XXR 521's 18x10 25mm (option 2)

Tires: Whatever will fit im not sure what to get i just need help im not knowledgable in this

Suspension: Tien S tech with stock shocks

Both will require more than a fender roll. You will have to trim the bumper tab in the rear for the first (245/40/18 tires) and the 10s will look stupid.

ok so ill go with the 18x8.5's but how big of an offset is 25mm is that really that big to require a fender roll. if i go with 235/40/r18?

they also have a 18x8.5 +35 im not sure quite what the difference is though

Rotard you want 245/40 not 45. Option 1 won't work

Durant stay with 245/40. The +35 will fit with just a fender roll. +25 will take more work but can fit.

The wider ones have a concave look which is far superior to the flat face look. Look for a different wheel is my advice

Get coilovers and lower them all the way down and have 235/40/18 (245/40 could work) and remove the bumper tabs and roll the fenders.

which would look better? Rims are Enkei RP03; Car is on stock suspension.

Choice 1: 18x8x40
Choice 2 : 18x10x15 or 22

18x8 +5 with 225/45/18 on stock height

NOT asking if it will look good but im asking if it will rub in the front when the steering wheel is turned all the way one way ??

Once again not asking whether if it will look good cause this set up is just to fool around... ill remove it depending on how it looks.

Thanks

I have no actual measurements for that. I'm gonna say no since it is stock height.

Wondering what the optimum track setup would be, i.e. fitting the thickest possible tires without rubbing either the outer fender or the inside strut. Don't care what rims as I'll just pick ones that have offsets that work the best. I see people putting 265 or 275's all around... will that work under track conditions without body contact?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
