lowered 1.8 on dropzone springs but will be lowered on tein flex coilovers, rear fenders are rolled and pulled slightly

Hey guys....what do you think about:

Front: 20x8.5 with 245/35/20
Rear: 20x10 with 275/30/20

Both offsets would be custom made to around 35-38mm.

A guy I know at a Rennen distributor told me these wheels will fit my car (with stock suspension) with no rubbing. Do you agree ?

Also, If i do not end up getting those Rennen wheels...I plan on getting these other wheels with this set up:

Front: 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 +42
Rear: 20x10 with 275/35/20 +45

Since these wheels have higher offsets my guess is that I could keep both tires with a 35 profile. Any tips or advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

those rears probably won't fit without rubbing.
I have 19x10 +42 w/ 275's and those rubbed without rolling the fenders.

 

 

hmm...but then again these are +45. Do you think 3mm more makes a difference ? How do you those rears look on your car? Since they have high offsets they prob wont look flushed even though they are 10" wide right ? maybe im wrong

 

You wouldnt have to roll fenders if you adjust the camber.

 

or you can roll the fenders lol. It's not hard or expensive.

Isn't increased wear and tear on the tires a result of adjusting the camber ? I wouldn't want that. Personally, I dont like when the top of the tires point inwards, but thanks for the tip Ross.

I've never had fenders rolled on any of my previous cars so I don't know how much the procedure costs.....i know its very simple though with the proper fender roller tool. How much do shops around you charge ?

 

It would be more beneficial to ask a place near you instead of me, but $40 a fender isn't unheard of here. I think mine was $30.

 

Ive seen as low as $25 a fender... I paid $35 a fender. Takes about half an hour.

 

if u can rent the fender-roller at kragens for 30 bucks a day, that will save you a lot

Yea...I've heard its a pretty simple process, but unfortunately with my crazy work schedule it would be better for me to just pay someone to get it done quickly while im at work.

I'm thinking of the following setup:

Front: 19x8.5 offset 45
Rear: 19x9.5 offset 41

Which of the options below will work and look the best without having to roll the fenders or do any other additions/mods? Everything on the vehicle ('06 RX8 GT Manual) is currently stock.

Tire option 1:
225/40/19 Front
245/35/19 Rear

Tire option 2:
235/35/19 Front
265/30/19 Rear

I also forgot to mention that the other option would be to run the following setup:

Front and Rear: 19x8.5 Offset 45
Tires: 225/40R19

I imagine the above will be exactly the same as stock.

I'm looking at getting the CE28N in 19x9.5 +36 front and rear with a 255/35 tire all round im happy to roll fenders if needed. Will they rub?

I test fitted some 19x9.5 +22 in the rear and even they they looked like they would rub, i reckon they would be ok with a good fender roll, so i figured to be on the safe side get the next offset down which is +36.

What do you reckon?

 

You know what would look really good, 19x9.5 +41 with 255/35/19 all around. You would probably have to massage your rear fender a bit but it will work with MINOR issues.

Yeah you will want to roll the rears and trim the bumper tab back there.

currently: 225/40/19s

id keep the stock setup front but want to go a little wider in the rear, maybe 235 or 245,

245/30/19 seems to be closer to the front in height mm when I look at some calculator, but considering the 225 on the r3 rims are stretch, are the calculators accurate??? id better have 235/35/19.

and concerning spacers: what would be best whit the r3 wheels 15-20-25 mm.

Why do you want to go wider tires in the back? It's not helpful handling wise.

225 isn't a stretch on 8" wheels. How does that have anything to do with accuracy of the calculators?

You have to say your suspension setup for us to know how much spacer you need.
