Well, guess what? I installed my Wedsport SA-55m 18 x 9.0 +36 on 245/40s...
I took it out for a test drive after I installed the wheels at around 10pm. There is slight rubbing when going over larger dips and bumps, or when entering mall/gas entrances where the curb is a little angled and suspension changes a bit.
But now I wonder is it the fender that's rubbing or the plastic tab? What's a good way to tell?

People have run 18x9 +30 (6mm farther out) with 245s and not rubbed. Don't worry about it. It's probably the plastic covering the tab. The tire will burn through it eventually and it's not a big deal. You can cut if off if you want to speed up the process.

Just look at the rear tabs and you will see if they are rubbing there. It's a very easy fix.
Anyway, I found a SINGLE wheel in stock through Vivid Racing and I jumped on it. Apparently it's the only Advan RS gunmetal wheel in that size in the entire country right now. I'd contacted another wheel distributor and he said the same thing. So, besides the fact that I had to shell out money for another wheel, I'd say I was pretty lucky that I didn't have to wait 3-4 months for one wheel.
By the way, member JantzenRX-8 has the same setup. I talked to him and he has no rubbing issues, and he's on Tein Basics and not running a lot of camber.
^ youre going with 18x9 +29 im going with 19x9 +29 :P or +22. It looks like im going with +29 cause i have 18x8 +30 right now and i like the flushness. Im assuming 19x9 +29 would be perfect cause it would stick out a bit more. But then again a part of me wants to get +22 so i can say i have an "AGGRESSIVE SET UP"

The +22's wouldn't be too tough to fit with 245's... rolled fenders, shaved tabs, And a whole lot of fender liner removal in the front. Otherwise the +29 would only need rear fenders rolled and that tab shaved a bit.

^ its a tough choice. I wanna go all out with the +22 but im afraid theyll stick out too much. Im looking for a flush look. I mean +7 isnt really a big difference and considering less work to make the +29 would be alot better.
Yea thats when didnt know absolute **** about wheel fitments lol. Just doesnt seem realistic. Although, possible, the amount of work required isnt worth it for me.
Also quick question, when comparing different size wheels and different offsets i know different size wheels and different offsets can stick out the same amount sometimes. My quesiton is does wheel diameter (ex. 18 vs 19) have any effect when comparing how much a wheel will stick out to the other ?? In other words will a 18x9.5 +37 stick out as much as a 19x9 +29 ???
I just saw a 18x9.5 +37 set up and i love how it sticks out. Would a 19x9 +29 stick out as much ? Or more ?? I wouldnt mind it sticking out a little bit more. Thanks
