There is a whole sticky thread about staggered fitment. I used to run the same tires all the way around on a staggered fitment. It was cool.

Got my eyes on a set of Advan RZ's for sale in 18x10 +35. I know they will fit but how agressive will this fitment be? I assume running a 255 tire would be safe and likely won't rub, but will I have room for a wider tire without rolling?

What offset would work better on a 18x8.75 +35 or +20? Looking to be flush as possible.
Also would it be alright to run the stock tire size on this set up?
Im only lowered on S-Techs.

I would get 265/35 all around and roll your fenders

I'd get the +20. Will fit no problem with the stockers and rolled rear fenders

Alright thanks! So I take it the rim width/offset will be quite agressive?

Wheels will be flush, but the tires will do the rubbing. It should look great!

I have some 18x9 +41 Varrstoens wrapped with 245/45 tires. Right now I'm on S-Techs and OEM shocks, but will be switching over to my Koni+Megans soon. What sort of work would I need to go through to have it flush?

Ah, much better! You'll get much better feedback than the aggressive fitment thread, as long as the regulars of these parts are in a good mood. Helps keeps things organized too

For starters, I can say your tire profile is a bit too large for things to work out perfectly. Ideally, you would be running 245/40/18's to keep the outer diameter down.

Furthermore, are you open to rolling the fenders?

Would you mind shedding a little light upon how the outer diameter plays a roll on this, tilt?

I'm more than open to rolling them.

Even beyond just height; the same width with a larger sidewall, with weight put on it - the rubber bulges slightly more to the sides. Fitting 255/40/18 and 255/35/18 are entirely different for this reason.

While 245/45/18 is technically within 3% of the factory OD, it's pushing it at 2.73% difference (too tall). The 245/40/18 is a much closer fit at 1.01% (Shorter) from factory OD. If possible, I'd try to swap them out for the 245/40 but I suppose it's not really necessary. Next time around, though...

Ok i have a set of BE BY Breyton wheels. I bought the car with the wheels so i dont even know if it has offset.. I have 225/45/18 Yokohama tires all around. Now my question is, can i go with like 235/40 and put some spacers or just get some offset rims. Right now it sits on Teins H-techs. But i dont like it, i will be dropping more soon.. heres a pic. Thanks

need to know if its possible to fit 19x9.5+40 front and 19x11.5+40 rear.

i have a friend with wheels in those sizes he doesnt need. they came off his s2k, im pretty sure the rear fenders were pulled.

so far im on stock suspension but would like to go to a nice drop later.

sorry i didn't have time to go through 250+ pages to see if its been done.

just wanting to know if its worth my time to go all the way to his place to just test fit.

They will fit on an rx8 with coilovers, rolled fenders, and a shaved fender tab pending tire size.

That's why I mentioned "pending tire size"

I would not try to fit those wheels on a stock rx8; it will look terrible. You should have coilovers first. In my opinion, that's just too much of a staggered setup anyway for our car. It would take a lot of work to fit those rear wheels. Fronts are a piece of cake.

Yes that will fit with rolled fenders and shaved bumper tabs in the rear. You can either get 275/35 or 275/30; 35 is quite a bit taller than stock so I wouldn't put the wheels on until your car is lowered, otherwise it will be a 4x4.
