Thinking about ordering these rims with these tires tomorrow. I have been looking for weeks on end and finally decided on these. Rims are 18x8, offset +40mm, 24.6 lbs. Tires are 225/45ZR18. Anyone have some thoughts or input on this set up? Any feed back would be cool thank you.

Weak offset and width. Basically gonna sit like stock. You should get 245/40 tires.

Yea that can fit but you didn't mention if you are lowered or what size tires you want. Please plan on rolling the fenders.

I was actually purposely aiming towards staying close if not exact to the specs of the stock rims. I look at it like those specs is what the car was tryed and tested on by the creators so why not stay close to that.

because you can go wider n' lighter to improve on what's already been given. 17x9 wheels have been noted for being lighter and quicker on response thus yielding a slight gain in performance. There are also other spec combinations that can yield benefits - you just gotta look/search around.

not lowered at all, and i dont know much about tyre measurments, what tyre would fit with that size wheel? im looking for something low profile. guessing il have to go low profile to get it to fit anyway.

Those will fit and staggering doesn't make a huge difference from what I'm told. You will want to switch those tires out for something wider though.

Then why come here and ask? Obviously it will fit lol. Lighter and wider is definitely better like Atilla said.

please lower your car and roll your fenders. Your wheels will poke out and you'll have a monster truck wheel gap.

go w/any tire setup. At OEM height you can fit 3 sets of tires on one wheel and probably still not touch.

i know everyone says to lower your car but my garage is a sharp 3 or 4 inch incline that i can scrape at stock settings if i dont angle coming out.

and when i pull up to work there is a giant steep immediate hill w/ train tracks before dropping off into the parking lot...real pics can come soon.

You won't need to roll the fenders now at all. You should plan on 255,265,275 in the back and 245,255 in the front. That will require your rear fenders to be rolled probably.
