Tire size is another variable

Often the rims will fit...but the tires don't

truth. that's where the tire calculator comes in handy.

wrong, most tire calculators work off theoretical criteria and are often incorrect as a result

^^ true...they assume too much about the rims the tires are on...as well as assume that there are "standards" in the tire industry

+1

tire calculators aren't a replacement for logic, but they're a decent substitute. when in doubt, ask questions.

hooray for vague, inconclusive responses! lol.

With 19x8.5 with a 1.2 inch drop in the front, and a 0.8 inch in the rear. Along with 225/40ZR19 Toyo Tires it will fit? How close are we talking and will it be flush with the rest of the car?

Offset?

Mine is fine; see my post early in this thread for pictures; my REARS are different - so they don't count. But my fronts are about the same as yours. You should be fine; but for "flushness" see pics in my sig - or early in the thread of my front wheels only.

Guys been going through every post in this thread and I think I might have an application that's going to work without effecting performance and most of all will look good but just want to make sure....Here it is

Front 18x8.5 35offset

Rear 18x9.5 35 offset

Tires:

Front 225/45/18

Rear 245/40/18

Want to still utillize original tires for the front cause basically they are brand new. My next question is if I go with MS shocks and springs beleiving it lowers the car by 20mm will I still be fine with no rubbing. Any input would be great help.......Much Thanks

Oh yeah my bad; but I have 245/35 - so the rolling diameter should be about the same.

I still think the offset (function of wheel width only) is going to cause rubbing without a roll.

Sorry for all the noob-like questions... its just that the seller i'm trying to get these wheels from isn't sure what the offsets are... is it +25 or is it +35? He has a g35 coupe ('03 i think)
