Will It Fit Thread
Awesome thanks! I take it you posted that link cuz thats the size of rim/tire on that car? Whats your opinion on getting some spacers on the rear wheels to flush em out or bring em out a lil?
Yes that car is 18x9+29 with 245/40s. You won't need a spacer to flush em out. You might want to do that if you lowered the car and gave it more negative camber. Stock height won't need that at all imo.
Sweet! If and when the time comes to lower I know who to talk to. But if I was to do that what you recommend, lower by 1-1.5" and a 15mm spacer? One more thing, that size won't affect the brakes?
15mm is way too much for basically any "normal" setup. Will require more than a fender roll for that one. 5mm is my guess or 10mm at the most. Come back after you lower the car to the level you want and then get opinions. What do you mean affect brakes? There shouldn't be a problem but just wondering what you mean.
Ya your right, I re-read that and thought bout it and thought it would be a lil much as well. Thought 10 but if you think 5 I'll consider that.
I meant the rim offset won't affect the stock brakes...I'm just asking cuz the stock rims have such a dinky offset and the offset I'm looking at is smaller. Maybe I'm over thinking this... Haven't been doing this for long lol.

Good, figured I'd make sure. Can 225/40/18 fit safely on the 18x9? By safely I don't mean my personal safety I mean my car/wallet's safety. The reason I'm asking is cuz I have 4 fairly new tires for the stock rims and I would rather not see em go to waste.
How are we supposed to let you know if it will fit without the offsets?
Fronts will fit, even with a +25mm offset.
Rears will fit fine as long as the offset is higher than +40mm..

Saying you have coilovers doesn't help. How much are you lowered? I'm guessing not much if you have stock camber specs. Do the tires come with the wheels? They aren't really the best sizes, 245/35/19 is better and 265/30/19 is better. You should be ok IMO.
