why staggered? We typically don't need to run that kinda fitment. It doesn't benefit us in anyway.

It will take more than a fender roll to fit 18x10+25 even with 245/40/18

Somewhere in the aggressive wheel fitment thread I believe, imput posted a few pictures showing what he had to do in order to make 17x10+25 with 245/45/17 fit. I have posted a link to the post somewhere in this thread as well.

If you're looking for a ridiculous overly stretched tire setup, then yes. In practicality reasoning, get a 255 or a 265.

I did, but putting a 225 on a 10" wide rim? That would be overly stretching it I'd think from what I've read and seen.

https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...postcount=1905 This is what it takes to fit 17x10+25 with 245/45 all around. Final fitment will be dependant on how low your car is/how much camber you have.

Lol I agree, but he wants it to fit with just a roll it seems. BTW 225/35 is pretty damn low profile.

Hey guys the rims i want come in the three settings.

18x8.5 48
18x8.5 38
18x8.5 30

I would like to keep both the front and rear wheels the size same and keep the tires the same size.

what would be a good tire/wheel combination with one of these 3 sets of wheel sizes that would look as flush as possible, not require a fender roll and still perform really well?

Sorry for the newbie question.

Hey guys I need some help.. I just stepped up to 9" rims with +30 offset and 245 tires.... I felt some weird rubbing on hard turns and come to find out the front inside of the tires are rubbing the springs or something... Which caused a gash or two and a bulge on the inside of both the front tires... What's going on? I'm assuming the solution would be a spacer on both the fronts now that I ruined two tires. I'm thinking 5mm, but anyone have any experience with this or a solution so I don't ruin replacements?

that's weird, shake. i'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in, but i'm surprise to hear x9 +30 would rub. i have x9.5 +30 and i don't have an issue.

edit: changed +35 to +30, ha ha, but i forget, yeah, that's what i have, i think

Whoops they're 9.5... A 5mm spacer would technically make them a 35 offset right? That seems like the way to go I'm hoping

If your rubbing on the inside, yes a 5mm spacer will push the entire wheel/tire out 5mm...

But would it be +35...no your math is wrong, it would make it +25.

Lower the offset, more it sticks out...

ha ha this sh-t always confuses me!!

but, if we have the same wheel set up, x9.5 +30, and you have 245's, i'm surprised you have a problem. i am running 275's. maybe you're lower than i am...but yeah i think 5mm spacers would help by pushing it out more.

Ok so I finally got some different wheels. Im on stock suspension. GT
They are:
F: 19x8.5 +37
R: 19x8.5 +37
Tires:
F: 235/35/19
R: 235/35/19
No where I am confused is that I have two people about the wheels offset and if they were good offest (Ill roll if I have to, but not trim or pull).... Anyways.. 1 of them (Mike Piston Eater) Told me to get 5mm spacers so that they would sit more flush? That the spacers will take it from +37 to +32?...He said since the spacers are only 5mm that I wouldnt need the kind of spacers that require other longer wheel lugs. I dont Track and I dont DD. I only use my car for monthly meets and to go to shows and with family here and there. Is +37 a good offest? Do I really need 5mm spacers? Either way I am planning to roll my fenders (it wouldnt hurt to do so anyways, it only rolls the little tab on the inside upwards). The tires on the wheels are like at 50% tread left. I plan on buying 255 or 265/35's Nitto NT05's... would I still need spacers with the 255/265s?
