19x8.5 45mm / 1.5 Lip (Front)
19x9.5 55mm / 2.5 Lip (Rear)

Here's what I'm thinking:
Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetrics

235/35R19 front
245/35R19 Rear?

^You can run 245 all around with out any problems.

Or you can run up to a 255 in the front, and 275 in the back, and you'll have 0 problems.

It'll take at least a roll. I've answered this one a bunch of times, it should be easy to search for it by now lol.

If you want to drop the car it will require a bit more work such as shaving the rear bumper support and the liner. If you want to go as low as I was then it'll require a little bit of finesse, cropping the turn signals and a proper suspension to pull it off. Adjustable endlinks, stiffening pieces such as sway bars and strut bars, even under bracing if plausible to make sure you car doens't flex because any flexing it will rub.

Best part is it requires no pull to make it fit right if you know what you are doing and have a quality suspension setup. If you are looking at the FNO1RCs (most likely) go with the +35s and you can get away with running a lot less camber and still be semi aggressive. I think a +30 would be perfect so even with a +5mm spacer you'd be right on.

I have read 100+ pages and I haven't seen too much about a 245/45r18 tire on stock rims.
I can get a pair for the winter for a hundred buck and I am wondering if I am gonna waste my money. I have 225/45's right now.
The help would be appreciated.

you must have been getting tired and missing posts. there is mention of 245s on an 8 inch on this very page.

i'll summarize: lots of people run this setup, they seem to be happy with it.

After dealing with insurance and trying to find the exact wheel we wanted to with after the theft we decided to go with the Seibon Edition TE37.

Per Atilla's suggestion we're going with the 18x9.5's +35.
My last question is this, the car is stock ride height right now and unless these wheels look rediculous at said height we're probably going to leave it that way for the forseeable future. That being said, we have to decide on tires and I'd like to go with something that isn't steched all that much. Reading what was posted above its being said that as much as a 255 and 275 could be used in the front and back respectively. I'd still like to stick to my guns on a square setup for rotation purposes, so that being said exactly what options do we have regarding tire sizes. Additionally, I know if I put a wheel that large on my Subaru w/o a drop it would in fact look retarded, the RX8 is signifigantly lower as is but I am concerend we're going to want to drop it after getting the wheels on the car. What do you guys think, should we purchase tires knowing that after we see it its going to nearly require a drop? If so, how "small" of a tire do we need to go with. Obviously at that point we're going to have to roll and do some camber?

You guys have been a ton of help, I cant thank you enough its been a rough week.

^Please don't buy a knock off of my wheels

And you need to tell us a tire size, before we tell you how it will fit.

If you go with something like that, please get a drop. Dropping serious money on rims and then leaving it stock height is kinda ghey. 255=no need for roll, 265=maybe need roll depending on camber, 275=needs a roll. All that is when lowered and can be run front and rear. A member (Bose) just posted his wheels of that spec with 245/40/18 and it has the "I need lowered super bad" look going on for sure. https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...postcount=1274 Be sure to post pics after install.

It'll fit really nicely with some 255 or 265/35/18 tires. It may require a roll in the rear if you're dropped enough

heres the deal, i have 19x8.5 +45 fronts and 19x9.5 +55 rears

im about to get some 20mm spacers from all 4 wheels, my question is if i do this, will all the wheels be evenly pushed out or will the fronts be sticking out a bit more than the rears?
the fronts are 1 inch thinner in width but the ending offset would be +25 for from and +35 for rears...

gregs and i test fitted 20mm spacers in the rear and they looked nice! i think if i went any bigger (25mm) the wheels would stick out beyond the fender and it would look odd...
