Get a 245/45 if you want that super beefy look with no rubbing

 

How low will you be? I think it'll fit on my car, but it'll still rub on the damn tabs. Should have about 13mm of space compared to my setup.



That's gonna be HUGE on a 8" wheel, almost .5" bigger than the regular 40 side wall.

I can tell you that you will definitely have to roll your fenders

 

The first set will rub by close to an inch with 275 tires on the rear.... Think you can roll them that much?? These will take a lot of camber and smaller tires and a fender relocation to work


The second set by about 1/2" give or take with the 245's..that could be done much easier

 

so all i need to do for the second set is roll both front and rear fenders?

What if i go with 265's all round?

I can tell you what I think is reasonable...but " that won't be aggressive" as most will tell you

It should be fine. Depending on camber you might have to roll the rear fenders or something small like that. Definitely an easy fitment

 

Konig Zero-In 18 x 9.5 w/ Nitto Invo 275/40ZR18 99W. Going to add Tein monoflex coilovers with some drop and Stop Tech ST40 355mm big brake kit. Really hoping I wont have to roll any fenders.

 

Might want 275 35 tires.....what offset? +40 to +45 should be OK with no rubbing +35 with a roll....anything smaller will need more

 

I've got two offset options of either +45 or +25.

 

you can run +25 with pulled fenders with 275's

 

If you don't want to roll fenders, then you definitely don't want the work associated with +25. Get +45

 

Quick question so the stock bore is 67.1? so if i get a wheel that is close to stock like 18x8.5, +48, with a 73.1 thats ok right? as long as the bore is not smaller than stock?

Both of you guys will fit. Butters flush is a relative term. Your fronts are more aggressive, ie flush, than the rears but it will look good. Why 255/35 and not 255/40? Mclaren, do you want to roll your fenders? If yes, 275/30. If no, either 255/35 or 265/30.

 

I want my rears to be flush with the fender. I love how aggressive that looks. And because I want the front and rear to be the same, will that mean my fronts will stick out PAST the fenders?

As for 255/35 and not 255/40, I honestly just chose those numbers out of a hat; they sounded good to me. But the goal is to not rub and, probably more importantly, keep the same rolling diameter to prevent any speedo/ABS/etc malfunctions.

Thoughts?

EDIT: After doing some math, my currently stock setup is 225/45/18 tire size. So that gives me a tire sidewall of 101.25mm. A tire size of 255/40 will get me a sidewall of 102mm. If this is correct, a difference of .75mm in diameter shouldn't affect the speedo/ABS/DSC that much, right? .... RIGHT?!
