+1. You could also try the new Nitto NT-05's. I would suggest going with a 265/35-18. I've had the 275's and prefer the response and gearing advantage that comes with the smaller sidewall and width.

I run 275/35/18 Cooper Zeon 2XS on my 18.5x9.5 RPF1s. I've used them as a DD and on the track for half-day sessions when swapping to rcomps isn't worth the time. No complaints and they provide me with plenty traction but I wouldn't use them for anything competitive.

I'll be using them for autox in STU but I don't run competively. Just for Sunday S&Gs.

the RT-615 is not good on track...it only last for a few laps, is too easy to get over heated, and it will become so slippy after few laps...
You may want to try this tire, Federal 595RS-R, GRIPPPPP and cheap
even better than the RE-01R, Tread wear 140, so good

285/30zr18
245/35zr18
255/35zr18
265/35zr18

140 AA/A

this 595 RS-R is a lot gripper than all the tires above and also cheaper
I'm happy to have them =)
many people start using these tires, it can last about 9 track days + daily drive

anybody try the new Nitto NT-05s? (I think these are the new ones)

I could be wrong but I think they are close to R-comps with a 200 treadwear rating and decent wet. Might be a all around winner?

I would say try the new Nitto NT-05's over the RT-615's. The RT-615's do get greasy easily during a track session. I have spun on track because of this and it is not fun. The RE01-R's are awesome in the rain on the track and I only had 2 sessions in close to dry conditions with them, but they held up well. Don't go for 275's unless you have to. 265's are the perfect size for the 9.5's.
