Why does tirerack list 18" tires primarily only 8" (with offset wider wheels only listed as an option for the back)?

Huh?

Most 8's have stock 18x8 wheels, therefore Tirerack lists stock 225x45x18 tires.

You can simply pick a custom size tho', wheels and tires (it's not readily intuitive, but not difficult).

What size/profile are you looking for?

Oh, thanks. I was getting frustrated looking at the stock 225s over and over again and not finding anything else. Doh!

Because Tire Rack is in the business of supplying stock tire sizes and wheels.

They don't like other setups. Can lead to law suits.

Once again you can buy what you want butt they only recommend stock size.

They will send you a confirmation email stating... Are you sure you want theses as they are not the recomend stock sizes from the factory.

When you say yes, then any problems are yours not theres.
