you can wast your time with pre loading, ill stick to the normal way, been doing this for years, all the cars i've lower have no probs with ride hight.. thanks anyways...

if you don't want to then don't, but it does help, not in the drop obviously but you'll expose those bolts pointed out to much more stress then before instead of allowing the new springs to get the full weight they are engineered to.

It's christmas, act a little nicer please.

This thread is AWESOME!!!

PS: you should tighten your suspension bolts with the car on the ground to get the drop. I installed my own shocks and springs and experimented to see for myself. I pre-loaded one side and didn't pre-load the other when tightening them and there was a 0.5" difference in ride height between the the pre-loaded and non-pre-loaded.

Definitely loosen the top suspension bolts and then re-torque them down on the ground.

Jedi I'm not sure what you did but those guys just flew off the handle.
