Hmmm the rear seems abit high compared the front... maybe theyre not settled yet?
how was installation? Was it relatively easy?
Would one without airtools be fine doing it?

Yes, the back is about a 1/2 inch higher than the front, which is ok and what I expected. But they still have to settle, so give it a little time.
As for installation, it was as easy as pie... a friend of mine who owns a shop did it for me. So all I had to do was pay. :D

if your not 1st your last
great pixs
btw have you had anyone in the car meaning 3 passengers
to see if the car goes down alot.i think the stock springs rate is crappy cause when i put 3 people in my car lowers a alot.
p.s ordered the s-tech now i just have to wait for my boys shop
to make some time for me.

Yes, I had 3 passengers in my car today, and noted no more drop in the rear than before. Perhaps even a bit less, but I wasn't really looking for it. I'll pay more attention next time.

Love the lowered look and the MS sideskirts they line up well with the aero flares and the front lip or is that the appearance package air dam? Can't wait to install my tein H specs myself. Soon as i get some time. How do the springs handle? brakin, cornering. They sound like they will pass my Wife test which is a real good thing.

Well, so far they will definitely pass the wife test. If you didn't know they were there, you wouldn't notice a difference from stock. Again, this is a good thing, IMHO, as I love the stock ride versus performance of the '8. They may be just a teensy bit firmer, but maybe not... difference is so slight, it's hard to be sure. They are definitely no "worse" than stock.
My favorite set of twisties between work and home were blocked by slow movers both coming and going to work today. But I think the car seems to handle just a bit "flatter" than before. Can't be sure until I lose an Audi or BMW trying to stay with me through them, which happens about once a week. :D
Stay tuned for updates.
Oh, and yes, that is the appearance package front air dam and rear flares, along with MS side skirts. See this thread for details. :D

nice drop omicron, they have settled in very well, good job!
it seems from your pics that after your install the front is even lower than the back!
lots of people i have read can't seem to achieve this effect...

Nope, MS springs do a drop of 0.8 inches on all four corners.
LoPo, I wanted more drop in front because of my MS side skirts. You'd never notice it without the skirts, but put the MS skirts on and it makes the car look nose-up by about a half an inch, or enough that it started to bug me. I thought long and hard about the MS springs (as well as the S-Tech Teins, Espirelirs, Eibachs, Racing Beats, etc) but decided I wanted more drop in the front to address this uneven look. I really liked the Espirilers and other Teins, but as I said before, wanted and needed less drop because of the side skirts.
As for the rest of the MS suspension... I got the springs as a first phase to a careful suspension tweaking... I may add f/r sway bars, shocks, and possibly support braces as time goes on. We'll see.

Every bit as good as stock. Like I've said before, perhaps a teensy bit firmer, but not so much that you'd notice if you didn't know they were there. Cornering is a bit flatter too, and better dampened.
I am extremely pleased! :D

You are killing me with your happiness. lol , Mine have arrived and I'm out of town till next Tues and then and I'll install tues or wen. Hope this install is as easy as it looks. I ordered some other stuff for my baby , some Polack decals to do the calipers the RX8 club decal , some Zymol cleanser and the Zymol Japon wax formulated for Japanese paints. Also got stealth and led for the whole car. Man I'm going to be busy yeah. I Have the fastest Ti color and I'm thinking either black calipers with white Mazdaspeed or a silver or aluminum caliper with black MS logo showing. I'm thinking the black caliper would be less flashy ?

Boy, are you gonna be busy! :D Fun stuff!
Personally, I think I'm gonna do silver calipers with red RX-8 logos. Black may disappear too much... not a good thing after all that effort to paint them!
