Suspension at full droop while....
Ok, I am going to paint my calipers during the winter up here in Wisconsin. My question is if there is any reason I should hurry and do it due to the car being on jackstands while I paint them...
I don't think there would be any problems, but I would like to make sure.
Thanks in advance!

Very different question, I must say.
How could you paint them without being on jackstands and with the wheels on?
You should take the wheels off and then paint them with a brush.

I think he's worried about how long it's up on stands, with the suspension at full "hang."
You should be completely fine for a couple days with no problems. I think the "problem zone" would be, like, weeks or months.

No, cars sit at my dealership on the lift some times for weeks...although it might take a little time for them to settle again! (wait..how long are you leaving the car on stands for?)

i dont think damage would occur unless you leave it jacked for a few weeks to months and then drive it then jack it up again. just because it'll be relaxed for too long then abruptly put underload. I would think it would be like a rubberband. Its okae to let a stretched rubberband relax, but if you constantly stretch then relax, it'll eventually break. just my thought on it.
