Need new stock tire...
One of the stock Potenzas got a nail stuck in it so I need to get a new one. My question is whether the TPMS is retained in the wheel and all I need to purchase is a new tire or do I need to buy a new TPMS sensor too? Thanks

TPMS is retained in the rim... you can change tires all day long and not have to worry.
I have 4 Potenza's in my garage with only 7000 miles on them, I would offer you one however Im going to need them again in the summer time.
My best suggestion: go to Discount Tire (or some equivelant 100% tire shop in your area) they can usually fix nails for cheap. 20 bucks im thinking?
Good luck
Jeff

Thanks for the info. I'm actually riding on my winter tires/wheels now so I'm ok, but the summer tire will need to be replaced since it can't be repaired. I'll take a look at Discount Tire and TireRack.
