According to Rishie's post earlier on this page. It would seem that Wider does not equal more concave. Also regarding this matter - wider wheels don't always mean more concave - some times (most of the time imo) it's contingent to offset.

I'm interested in seeing what a low offset high width would look like on these wheels...

I don't even think low offset will change this wheel.

I believe the mold is the same face for all the 18's. We will know in a month when all my stuff gets here.

Thanks,
Rishie

Ya I know, NOT. He'll be all set once the wider tires are put on. His wheel bearings will appreciate him. Besides that's a different generation of fashion anyways.

came out of toys r us yesterday with my son to find some honda dork kneeling down by my car. was with my son so i kept it low key. when he commented on the lugs i said "yeah, it's a shame that without the one of a kind key you have to basically saw off the wheel to get it off, that's why i leave that key at home" He frowned and went about his business.

I swear i will go postal if someone steals these wheels.

This really doesn't seem like that great of an idea!

Also, 4 simple 18-19mm extended sockets + a hammer/mallet and bam, you've got those locks off pronto! Sadly, if anyone really knows import wheels, they'll know lug/lock styles and have those keys. Best bet against thieves are the Volk formula lugs but damn are they pricey!

for dealing with a forum vendor and being the first on the forum to post up pics of this wheel!

FYI - In case anyone is interested in seeing these wheels on a blue RX8, I posted a couple of pics in the Series II thread (post #3).

tilt... didnt go for the volks for two reasons... price was crazy but most importantly you run into the same issue, a determined thief will try to get them off and either succeed or ruin the lugs and wheels in the process of trying.

and as for dealing with Rishie, he's the bomb! A fellow club member bought some RFp1's off him and couldnt speak highly enough about him.

Kster.. they look damn sexy on blue

If a thief wants your wheels then locks will not stop them.

Very true. The Volks are a bit tricky if you've never used them though, and they take a bit longer. Still scary to think about
