2009 Sparkling Black Mica RX-8 GT with Axis Circuit wheels in bronze.

* weight is 16.7 lbs. each
* forged by Rays Engineering
* 18x8.5"
* 45mm offset
* lifetime structural warranty, 1-year paint
* black Gorilla lug nuts
* I paid $420 each at Discount Tire, but you can get them a bit cheaper online (just make sure it's a legit Axis dealer)
* tires are OEM Dunlops (225 width). When they go, I'll be getting 255 width tires.

The color of the wheels is *exactly* what I was looking for. They go perfectly with the gold flakes in the black paint.
You can see my full Gallery of my RX-8 at

http://www.mattharrell.net/gallery2/.../my_cars/rx-8/

and a sad one:

Enkei PF01, 18x9, +45
Hankook RS3, 245/40/18

The weight of the wheel came at 47lbs on my somewhat accurate bathroom scale. It's a little more than a pound lighter than the OEM 19s.

I have another set of wheels for the track so I'm sticking with 245s for daily driving.

Where did you get the car cover? I recently bought an r3 and I am getting tired of all the people going near the car to look at it when I leave it in my parking space. I live near a Junior High, and the kids have been keying cars regularly.

I had a brand new 06 Civic coupe the first week it came out, and it was keyed the same day front - back. I don't want it to happen again. lol

You can get them from any Mazda dealership and there are a few site that sell them a little cheaper.

Yeah, that's what I did. I either ordered mine from the dealer or from Mazda's website directly. I can't remember. I'm not sure if it will fit the R3. I doubt it, with that wing in the back. It's a tight fit all around on my "normal" SII without the wing.

It will fit...it just won't cover the whole rear bumper.

Nice rims. Very clean guys, ownage, I wouldl ditch the rotary powered sticker, the spirit R sticker and get black lugs though. TE37's rock, don't take attention away from them

kster, specs on the wheel, please! They look like 18s. I just tracked my stock R3 and thought the stock suspension was excellent. What coilovers did you get? Nevermind about the coilovers, I see your post above.

The wheels are the standard RPF1s most people here have (18x9.5 +45).

I'll be at the track in a couple of weeks and then I'll post a new thread in this forum about the Ohlins. But on the street, at the soft setting, they are actually more comfortable than the OEM Bilsteins.

Thanks. Mounted on there right now are Yohohama AD08s 255/40/18. Fenders are not rolled and there is no rubbing issue. I will get the rear fenders rolled next week so that I can get a 265 track tire in the future.
