My New PF01's

Just got them put on today. Next set of tires will be 245's so they'll fill out a bit more.

Huge thank you to Rishie for the rims and lugs (rays ftw!)

What's the width on the rims? If it's 8.5 you should do 265/35-18's. Fat FTW!

OK ok ok guys.

So HERE'S THE LOWDOWN. LAYTHOR HAD

PERFECTLY GOOD FALKEN FK452 IN STOCK SIZE 225/45/18.

I SWAPPED THOSE TIRES ONTO THE

18x9 +45 5x114.3 PF01 wheels WITH HIS TPMS SENSORS. wink wink!!!!

WHEN THOSE WEAR OUT HE WILL OPT FOR THE LARGER 245/40/18 TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE AND MAKE IT MORE FLUSH.
Not "hella flush" the OTHER KIND OF NORCAL FLUSH. Just good ol' GRIP. He has SUPER BABY STRETCH right now so they look more sunken.

Do not expect them to change between faces. I'm waiting for my 10.5 to appear but for some reason i think they are all the same look.

yeah... it does pain me a bit to have those on these very very nice rims.. but I just put them on and it seemed a waste to store them in my garage.

I know i'll be back in Rishie's garage when the time comes for new tires. Even if he does flinch when inflating tires

Thanks again for the great deal on the lugs, the black lugs on the silver wheels looks awesome.

The wheels look good on your car; I'm thinking of getting a set of these as well.

Hrm..so if you were to go wider, the face would not appear more concave?

I believe the weight for those is somewhere around 18.8 - 19.2 pounds for the 18 x 9. Rishie, correct me if I'm wrong? The wheels are looking great BTW. Still deciding if these are the ones for me.

This is from Rishie's (AutoRND) vendor section post. https://www.rx8club.com/auto-rnd-91/pf01-preorder-arriving-march-190773/

I got my first set of

Enkei PF01
18x9 +45 5x114.3
Weight: 19.2 lbs

This wheel is not lighter than the RPF1. The RPF1 in 18x9.5 is 17.2lbs.

I weighed the 15x8 +35 4x100 and it was about 13lbs.

POSITIVE SIDES:

I do believe this wheel will have less spoke deflection. It also INCLUDES CENTERCAP IN THE PRICE, unlike the RPF1.

I HAVE THE REMAINDER OF THE SETS COMING FIRST WEEK OF APRIL.

Now for the pics.

18x9, 9.5, and 10.5 I BELIEVE WILL LOOK THE SAME. SORRY THIS WHEEL NOT MADE VERY CONCAVE. BUT HAS QUITE THE LUGNUT VALLEY.

TeamRX8, these are not 9.5". These are the 9". Laythor doesn't need 275's for his purposes.

The wheels weight 19lbs each.
