Thumbs down My luck with tires

Ok so when I got my car about 3 months ago there were mismatched tires front and back and one of the tires in the rear had a cut in the sidewall and was leaking air.... So I bought 4 new Toyo T1r's (245/40/18) and it took the "mechanics" 4 trys to realize the valve stems were causing a leak because they were too small....... They finally got it right after I read them the directions and got the orings in the right spot, and for a month or so now I have been riding very nice. This morning I got in my car to go to school and my pressure warning is on. By the time I got to school I was about on my rim. I tried to put air in and I fealt a breeze on my face, I stuck my hand behind the tire and there was a hole about half my finger tip...... The worst thing is I dont have insurance on my tires and I have been driving nice and slow to save gas and tread.... I don't remember hitting anything on the highway or w/e.... Do I have any options or do I have to eat it and buy another ******* tire?

If you drove on a nearly flat tire just about any bump could have caused that cut. Always air up before driving if TPMS goes off! Kind of like oil pressure, don't mess with it.

Buy another tire, just be glad they are new, if 50% you would be buying 4!

I just don't understand how the tire was flat at all in the first place, there was no nail or anything. The pressure wasn't that bad. When I got off the highway I was fine and then less than a 1/4 mile I was on the rim. Soooooo either I had the hole in the tire and it was a miracle that I drove 15 miles on the highway going 65-80 the whole time, or there was a small leak that just happened to fail as soon as I got off the highway and then the whole came from riding on a flat for about half a block..... Idk, all I do know is that I have a nice rx8 outside that didn't go flying off the road like my last 2 MR2's would have done..... little bastards.

I got the new tire yesterday and it is a little squirrly but they'll be even soon after some drifting =)
