My Final 2 Wheel Choices -- Feedback Please

After mucho deliberation -- I have narrowed my search for the next American Wheel Idol down to 2 -- what do you think.

Remember -- Ti 8 with MazdaSpeed body kit -- lowered 2.5 inches. Wheels will be 19" staggered.

Volk GT-V in Ray's Metal Coat-- New for 2005 -- sources say that this is the hot wheel for 2005.

Advan T6 Bright Chrome -- cored cavity weighs 19 lbs.

The second set...that's what I prefer. If they were black, I'd buy them for my car

i'd take what is behind door #1 unless it is much heavier than 19 lbs. i really like the look of that wheel, even if it looks blingy..

The price of the Advans is classified information

Seriously guys -- the cost is almost obscene -- cover your eyes .....

$3300 -- wheels only -- OK take a deep breath.

These shoes are rare and the technology is top of the line. The bright chrome adds $125 per wheel so the other finishes are less. I don't care for dark wheels (I know it is the current style) and my wife fell in love with the 20" FOOSE full chrome bling wheels my car had in the WoW show. WoW wheels

Way too heavy -- these performance metal coat wheels have the look of chrome but no weight.

p.s. -- the Rays are $2700 ($2100 without RMC finish) and weight approx. 25 lbs.

I had the CX (mulit piece) on my list for a long time -- awesome looking wheel (especially with Sunlight silver IMO) Then I saw several ricer Honda's sporting them around town I want something I'm not going to see all the time -- uniqueness is worth $$ for me. That is my one concern with the Volk's -- getting very common. I actually was enquiring about the PIAA Super Rozza's when the GT-V's were brought to my attention (cheaper, similar design, forged, etc.).

I would vote for number 2. The first wheels are too beefy. The cost of number two will make it "unique" enough to keep if off the ricer list. That is, until the knock-offs come around. Rim 2 is a nice look.

When the knock-offs are able to make hollow core rims -- we should all buy them.

You can stick your finger inside the spokes of these Advans

Vick at Wheel Options (importhookup.com) carries them -- I am most likely going to get my final choice locally from the dealer who displayed my 8 with the FOOSE wheels -- still trying to work a better deal.

You have probably guessed that the Advan's have been my top choice -- the Volk's are just the more cost effective second choice (though hardly cheap).

Jumping Jahosefats Batman! That 3300 could be a turbo kit! The second wheels look hot, wish I could afford em.

I already have the turbo kit :D These are just to finish the look.
