ms shocks with rb springs and sway bars

im looking into getting new shocks and springs and im wondering if anyone has put RB springs with MS shocks, i dont mind spending the extra $$ if performance will be drasticly different but if i go with the RB suspension kit, which includes 4 springs and the front and rear swaybars, and get the MS shocks rather than the koni or tokiko shocks that RB sells ill save about $200-250. lemme know what you guys think

why not just get the MS springs, which will most likely complement the MS dampers better.

i guess cause it turns out to be a little less expensive, but probably not worth the risk of running into issues.

rocks..... ask me, i dont know it all by ANY means, but i could point you in the right direction. and i agree with KartRacer, you can totally waste your money on any spring or shock if they dont compliment each other. i know someone who has the MS springs and shocks, maybe you can get a ride. i also think he is looking to sell them sometime....

I would stay matched, both are good, if cost is an issue go racing beat, its a awesome setup also and I've installed and driven both.

Yeah the drop isnt that much on the MS springs but it is alot stiffer than the other springs out there, so basically it's what you want to accomplish with them.

Or even better MS springs with Konis. The MS shocks look kind of weak and offer no adjustability and the MS spring rates are probably the stiffest no coilover, I have great luck with that combo. I will say that the advertised drop is way off, instead of the listed .8" F/R it's honestly more like 1.3-1.5" F/R.

the advertised drop is for the MS springs + MS shocks. i remember hearing somewhere that the koni's made the height drop lower on some springs though.

good looks, depends how much you want to drop. i like the s-techs or tanabe drops for springs (though i've never seen pics of tanave drops). but anything paired with koni's can't steer you wrong.

are the konis you use the same as the ones on rb's website? im thinking about those springs as ive heard ( independently, from two ppl that dont seem to agree on anything) they are pretty good, but i may just go with the shocks for now and get different springs later.

also, it seems to me that 1.5" drop for our cars is alot, not that i know anything about anything tho lol
