Lime green wheels on rx8?
I'm thinking about painting my stock 18s lime green. I have a black car. Can I get some opinions on this?. Here's a pic I painted on my phone.

Factory wheels look best stock, perhaps maybe with the exception of gun metal. Not black, not white or any other color of the rainbow. But thats my option and at the end of the day your free to do as you please.

I googled black rx8 green wheels and found like 2 and I think one of them appeared to have g35s on it so I think I may have seen it.. My car is a dd and by no means a drift car. I'm just tired of the plain boring looks and wanting something new to look at.. Would love to have a set of deep dish wheels but can't afford any at the moment.. I wanna do it but I'm just affraid the bright wheels w be too much and look like I'm trying too hard to be seen.

The idea is as good as your picture. Do it and drift hella hard stance nation slammed flush off a cliff. If you want another idea to turn your RX8 into something not so boring while keeping the cost low. Go to a sign shop, have them print out a giant vinyl ***** for you and slap it on the side of your 8. That is going to turn excitement up a few notches.

Nothing wrong with the color, it's more about if the wheel color will fit the body color or not.
Lime green looks better on matt black instead of glossy black, imho.
It's your car, not others, use your best judgement.
As long as you enjoy it, why not?

FWIW angelo's are fluorescent yellow. Not green. If you must do this please get them powder coated. The rattle can stuff only looks right if you lay down a white base coat.... imagine how that would look with rock chips.... like the bad spots on an easter egg. I agree with 9k but its your car. If it makes you happy go for it just do it right or you will have a mess on your hands.

I didn't paint them.. The rotary cars aren't for me.. Traded it and my 06 gsxr750 for a 2005 low mileage nicely modded 6spd 350z... This will be my last post.. Goodbye guys and thanks for your input.
