okay so i got my dash and center console torn all apart and im kinda stuck here... this is one of the most complicated wiring harness ive ever seen! theres the regular looking harness part (red connector) and the part that connects to the "axxess box" (white connector)...

for the most part its really simple the red connector handles the Left and Right, Front and Back speakers (pos and neg groups ofcourse) but the white connector has Left Rear Positiv and Negative also Solid green , and Green with Grey stripe! why the heck would they do that? do i just tie it in with the other ones from the red connector(solid Green, and Green with Black stripe)????

someone please help i got my car torn all appart and this is buggin me!



Also i got the back up camera license plate cover just for the hell of it and cause the head unit supports it so i figured its just a waste not to use it and the camera was 20 bucks.... where would i tie in the backup signal ?

It's been a couple of years, but the way I wired this was pretty straightforward, from what I remember...each wire mates to one of the same color or that serves the same purpose. Your mileage may vary, based on head unit.

As for the backup camera, if it's anything like mine, I wired the power for the camera into the brake light power and grounded to the chassis, then ran the provided signal wire to the wire for the head unit to detect the car was in reverse.

ive wired many harnesses before this one had an extra set of LEFT REAR pos neg wires on the 10pin white connector! i just tied it in with the same group. i dont know why there was an extra pair of wites for the left rear....

yeah the backup cam gets its power fro mthe break light and the video wire goes to the head unit video in. the head unit has its own lead that goes somehwere??? to detect when the car is in reverse and automatically switches your feeed to the camera . i think it goes tobrake light too? not entirely sure.

instead of running the amp wire down the middle of the car i took it under the floor trim theats by the door right back into the trunk. there are 4 white hollow boxes under there to add rigidity to the black trim that goes over it, it was PERFECT for running the wire!
