Does a sway bar install require re-alignment?

I realize that a sway doesn't change the alignment itself. I'm wondering if the process of installing it requires you to pull anything that has to do with the alignment, thus requiring a re-align?

On my previous car, the rear could be installed without messing anything up, but the front (McPhersons, AWD) required you to pull the struts on at least one side.

Rear is a snap...no problems...all you need to o is remove the end links and the retaining straps and its out.

The front is another matter.......I didn't have to remove anything that required an alignment...I'll leave it at that.

There is a good DIY on here somewhere...and if you follow directions to the letter it's not too bad. It really helps to have an extra set of hands........you have to be part Houdini to get it in there

The front can be done without pulling out anything requrireing a realignment. I did it myself. The parts I had to disconnect were the lower radiator mounts and the control cable to the power steering. The connectiors for the cable are below the air cleaner assy. I also did it alone.
