yeah with pearlizer.
Thanks guys! and yeah I eliminated the markers but now everytime I bottom out the corners of the bumper press against the fender and crack/break. That's why they're short. My front bumper is so fucked up. I'm going to buy a new/different one before Wekfest in October, rock a new look.

I'm just in awe that someone would spend so much time, money and effort into rebuilding and fitting those bad *** wheels only to plasti dip the car.

God I hate you lol. Gonna kick you in the nuts when I'm in Texas!
Body shop for what?
I get the dip done for free. I thought it would be fun to switch colors for every show this year once I'm back from Asia in August. Also why I'm sort of on a budget now too. This 6 week trip is costing me like 5 grand. I'm gonna buy a new front bumper before WF Texas.

You guys crack me up. I actually like the Matt look but as I've never seen Plasti dip in the flesh so to speak, I have no idea how good or not it looks.
I couldn't be bothered playing around for a temporary look but I get that IRS fun for some guys just mucking about.
Now, a seriousish question, is it worth using for the emblems? I'd like to black mine out as black on black looks cool to me. Paint, plasti or?????

i traded trunks with a guy (to get an OEM lip spoiler) and he had the emblems already plastidipped. It looks bad in my opinion, it's almost like truck bed liner spray and if you wax your car, getting wax off it is a pain in the ***. I will remove it soon, but I tried a hidden spot and it is not so easy to come off so it is not going to be fun. It has no place on a painted panel, it cheapens the whole look.
Dammn had a chance to redeem himself but screwed it up in my opinion. But if he thinks it looks legit and he is happy with it, then I guess that is his prerogative. Asia is fun too

I still have no clue what you're talking about. Be specific. Make sentences.
And 9k, as long as dip is done right it doesn't look bad in person. You have to lay it on THICK. And it comes off really easy when laid on thick too. You get that grainy "truck-liner" look if you don't do enough layers, I know exactly what you're talking about, good reference.
The white on the other hand goes on like ****; had to use 6.5 gallons since its so translucent, then pearlizer over it. Whereas a darker color would only need about 3 to do the entire car.

I'll reiterate myself, who ruined your fenders/bumpers? They don't line up even remotely.
Clear enough for you?
Furthermore Plastidip looks like *** when done on large panels, it's the new ricer craze around here. There is a body shop that will dip your entire car for 500 dollars, they do really good prep work. Their paint jobs are amazing, but when spraying liquid diarrhea all over the place it's impossible to make it look good.
