Damn I'm sorry about that. Why did you choose such a huge sidewall? That's probably why you had issues with fitment. I'm doing a 225/35 and 255/35 on my 11s and 12s. Stoked to see pics though.

He probably did what I did Danny. I had 245/35 wrote down on a piece of paper but compared the price between the 35 and 40 series and I went with the 40 series lol. Biggest mistake I made.

160 bolts polished, faces stripped then painted in a custom metallic blue/purple chameleon, and massive lips.
They're finally finished guys. I'm just waiting on my center caps from Japan.
Enjoy

whatshisface from RiskyDevils did that color to his wheels as well, along with half his engine bay lol.

Rustoleum makes a spray paint that is the same friggen thing as your paint.

its called "color shift". Incase you want to go to town spray painting random bits.

i sprayed my tow hook for ***** and giggles.

yeah i was about to say its expensive.

i think its around 25 bucks, Home depot doesnt seem to carry it but ive seen it in autozone and in loews. they also make another colorshift that goes from green to red i think. I didnt really like it.

anyway, make sure you prep really well and sand the primer down real nice.. and the spray paint adds more sparkle the more layers you put on. It can be forgiving so you can spray a new coat every few minutes. Then give it 5 thick clear coat layers to make it shine.

MAKE SURE you spray it over a BLACK BASE... I usually spray filler primer and sand the **** out of it, then matte black a few times and then sand it smooth and then put the color on. If you spray it on anything but a black base color, it will turn out like crap.

Thanks for the advice. The guy who built and painted my wheels will be doing the colors in my bay. I'll make sure he clears it.

I'd rather it just be perfect. He doesn't charge me a lot. Otherwise I would do it myself.

What's up guys! i just purchase a set of Work VS-XX the specs are 18x8 +50 (6.5 inner barrel & 1.5 lip), its pretty much like the stock wheels. Although I am planning to re-lip all of them for a wider look, but idk what the limit is on the 8. What i was planning was 3.5" rear & 3"front, but i kinda want to go bigger without having to be on a lot of negative camber, and pull/rolling the fenders to the extreme. So will 4" rear & 3.5"front be to much???

Ok, I was told not to do it but i did not listen. I'm on Tein S techs and I see problems lots of work ahead. In the first pic, I compressed the spring some but not all the way and I can see the rim past the fender line. I really dont want to stretch a tire or camber to death to make this work. I want function so I think I must cancel my FI plans and buy a set of coilovers.

For every inch you add to the lip, your offset will decrease by 12 mm. So if you do 3 and 3.5 inch lips you'll still be at 18x9.5 +32 and 18x10 +26. Very manageable sizes. A fender roll and some tabs shaved at most.
At 3.5 and 4 inch lips you'll be at 18x10 +26 front and 18x10.5 +20 rears. Which is considerably more aggressive. More stretch and camber would be needed for this.

no i installed my coilovers.

wtf is your point anyway? are you in some way suggesting that removing shocks and installing coilovers is just as easy as pressing a button on a spray can?

Alright cool. A better question is will this(4"&3.5") work on stock suspension? I'm back in stock for the moments. And how much negative camber can I get on stock arms?

the amount on negative camber depends on ride height. You can get all the way down to -6 on stock arms if you're low enough. You shouldn't need any camber at stock height though.
