uneven suspension ftw

 

When I had springs I always had problems with one side being lower, at least in the rear.

Dude I haven't even seen them in person yet! My dad says the faces are peeling and look like they were rattle canned though, which doesn't really matter. They arrived like 3 weeks ago but I havent been back to the suburbs because I've been so busy with school. I'm coming home on saturday night and I'm going to measure the exact offset. Then I'm gonna take them apart and try to sell the DDC lips on the cheap. Hopefully that will help me fund the $1000 I need to relip them with the 4.5/5" reversed lips haha.
I've actually been in contact with "Source" for the past week experimenting with different flake combinations to get a one-of-kind candy/chameleon/mirror/whateverthefuck purple finish.
That is also not gonna be cheap... haha. It would cost like $200+ a face normally but I get the EST discount since a member works there so I only have to pay $125 a face.
I'm gonna be coating a lot of plastic/engine components in the same color too.

 

You better make sure that you reaaaaaaally like purple.

tbh, i was actually thinkin' about doin' custom interior work in purple buuuuut...if someone else is already on that train then i guess i'll try a different direction

I think he's mainly going for the wheels to be purple.

my interior is all black my center console will be alacantra purple I have red lights inside, and blue floor lights red+blue makes purple that's my theme. but if someone beats me to the punch -_-.

 

haha no, purple interior would be weird. I have black suede headliners and pillars. with the two-tone black and grey suede seats and doors. I'm working on the interior, but matching outside accent colors to inside accent colors is just bad news. Its a one-way ticket to rice town.
And yeah the wheels will be purple, but so will a lot of the engine stuff + maybe some random accent colors in the engine. Pretty much anything I can take out without pulling the motor haha.

yea true its good to keep things to your self I wont talk about my next set of wheel they will just show up in this thread some day in the future.

 

Problem with not "announcing" upcoming mods is what if someone else happens to do it first, by chance? Then it just looks like you're copying their ****.
