looking for some help I am running XXR 527 17x9.75 +25 i need an alaingment done. I am on k sport kontrol pros, I am looking for some toe and camber specs. How much neg camber should I be looking at? I was told to run a little toe out in the front. I have mostly been street driving these days so I need to keep tire wear in mind any help and suggestions would be appricated.

Did you see the exhaust from the build thread? Looks ridiculous.

Yea **** must sound tribal, if I went back in time, I want to do something like that, except single sided. HKS single + race pipe was too quiet. Might get another 8 soon :donno

Dude, lower your car.

Is this going to be done on an rx8? I would ask tiltmode about that, I'm pretty sure he knows exactly how much camber etc. although I wouldn't recommend runnning toe at you should keep it a 0 toe is what eats up tires you can run camber all day.

just a stupid will it fit question (yes im posting it here)

If I'm currently running 18x10.5 +15 on 245/40s and i want more poke, if i go with 18x11 +10 on 245/40s that should fit too, just with more poke right? Same inset calculated...

Same goes with a smaller width, I'd go like 18x10 +5 on 245s right?

Just trying to gather my understanding of an offset calculator.

BBS R3 wheel looks better and is better quality then the XXR 522. IMO major downgrade.

Do what you want man. Sure they are cheap wheels, but maybe you don't wanna jack up those sweet r3 wheels. I realize there is a risk with running cheap wheels if they bend or bust I can still get 2 more sets before I would even come close to the price buying authentic wheels in the first place.

imo - still not a fan of the 522's primarily because of how the spokes poke out past the lip of the wheel on low offsets...

but if the price is there n' make/model is of no importance then go for it.

imo, varrstoen would be a better choice...

I wonder if that XXR sticker on his back windshield has any bearing on his wheel choice............I have way too much pride to put ugly cheap wheels on my car. Cheap sure. Resize that freaking picture.

Looks are subjective I know (look at my old Volks) but I don't like how the face of the wheels pokes out either. If I could do it all over I would have had my GT-F's rebuilt to 18 x 10 +35's.

Keep in mind that at one point, your wheel lip will actually hit your fender. 11.5 ET21 tucks the edge of the 1/4 panel, but hits the inside under compression - this is with full neg camber w/factory camber bolts and pulled 1/4's. Unless your rear 1/4's are extended, you are going to damage your wheels pretty bad trying to run this setup, might even have some sort of failure on the highway. If you have some aftermarket camber arms you can give more negative camber to make it fit but at that point, you are negating the original purpose all together of trying to get more poke.

As long as you stay with the inner equivalent of 11 +25 you shouldn't have inner clearance issues. Outer clearance will differ from car to car, so you'll have to be the judge/compare with your current 10.5 ET15.

Also, if you aren't already, use this calculator for easy translation. I hate the miata one, haha. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
