Hey guys, so I had an s13 before this and had
white Rota Grids 17x9+12 all around on a 225/45/17 and I'm looking for a similar wheel on my rx8.
Here's what I came from:

Started a completely stock grey 240 but turned into this:


Then on to this:








AND HERE'S THE VR:


I'm really wanting to put some white wheels on it. That white rx8 that has the white wheels and also that red r3 with the white wheels are definitely what I'm going for.

 

And I apologize for all those pics of non aggressive fitment! But just letting you guys see what I'm going for. Can I go 18x9+12 with a 225/40 tire? I'm stock height now but idk if I will mess with the height because I thought the suspension and handling on stock 8's are one of the best? Sorry guys I'm a newb!

 

I might be referring to Tiltmode's rx8 if he has the red r3 with the white wheels/blue lugs

 

tilt drives the white s1 with the baller 19x11 kranzes.

 

aggressive fit + stock height = mad poke. but similar style to the rota grids, you may consider varrstoen 2.2.1's. i believe they come in that size also. man i feel like i refer varrstoen's to everyone >.> if you can see my avatar, it's those wheels

 

i can wait for tilt to trade those ugly chrome expensive wheels he got on right now. I think for me those are like from the "hood". lol

I haven't heard the 2.2.1 term until I made it to this forum, can you define? I've seen others say something like 1.2.2 or something of that nature but what do the numbers stand for?
