either 285/30 or 295/30. The FD3 racers are running 315/11 front 335/12 rear I would probably switch to the new 275/35-17 later if Hoosier actually makes it, they are considering it for a possible summer/2012 release
thanks for helping lighten it up, sorry that I get so wound up at times about my own function over form mentality

Skateboards are rideable :D everyone gave me funny looks when I rode it around, though there were like 2 other people who had them also. They give about a half inch or inch of clearance. The side markers won't fit this time cause replica bumper hahah. I have to find a new way to put them in now. They'll be in for the next meet forsure! Whenever that may be

And to stay on topic, I'll go ahead and copy/paste what I wrote in the description on Flickr for these photos:
As I've had many Volks in the past, I cannot say I am the *hugest* fan of Varrstoens. I understand it from the business owner's side, but it gets old when people rock them as if they are the next hot ****.
While in limbo between wheels a buddy let me roll on some Varrstoens. I wanted to try them out to test this fitment and have to say I am pleased; a square set of 19x10.5 ET12 CE28's would be perfection. Fronts of the 9.5 +12 are a little sunk compared to the rears, but some spacer action would fix that up. Just wanted to upload these photos for rx8 demonstration, I hope these photos don't make the usual rounds!
There is a reason I didn't take more pictures of this setup, haha...
Dlum is cool though, Varrstoens or not
