Yep, I'm actually doing a full make over on the car, one I planned about a year ago. I unfortunately can't get my hands on the CF ings+ wing any longer so I might go back to my idea of the CF MS wing but we shall see. The car will be CF free for a while. Going with a lot less aggressive look this time and a more sexy savy appearance. Retaining all the suspension mods from before.

I like to switch up my cars either all together or just get rid of it and get something else. I'm in the market for an NSX or a Vette but I'm very picky on the exact color and year I want for either car so I figure I might sit on the 8 for a while and let it return to being a weekend worrior and do something new to it. I'm far too complacent as to how the car is now so it'll make it easy to get bored with it.

Back to the drawing board bro.

You mean I have to roll both front and rear? What about the fender guards at the front? I dun wanna take it off and have stone marks popping out from the inside though...

Yes, you have to roll both. You probably will end up removing the fender liners.

I've been thinking about removing the fender liners in my car, but I'm worried about a couple things.

Do rocks even come close to hitting the headlights or oil coolers(since they both become exposed then)? I'm getting ready to roll the fenders, so if I take out the liners, I wana make sure I won't damage the headlights or oil coolers.

I've also go the same concern as FATE710....

Gosh....

I don't know which way to go....

I'm starting to really want the aggressive look though....

But will it decrease the handling ability even if i go 19 by 9 all round??

It definitely won't improve it. Higher rotational mass is never a good thing and the drop required to finish off an aggressive stance for a wheel of that size normally is too low. Not to mention the poorer handling characteristics of overly stretched rubberband tires.

Your oil coolers, nor the head lights will be damaged. You can remove the fender liner piece from the fender. The piece on the bumper will still be intact. The worst part is rocks getting stuck near the door, but when u clean your car u can remove that stuff. You can always cut the fenders liners, and remove just the top part so it wont be as bad, but I was too lazy.

Honestly how you car handles is a lot more diver, than anything else, I've seen people will thousands of dollars in the suspension be slow as ****. Tires are also a big factor, 245/45 on the 10" wheel right now sucks, just not enough tire, should be a lot better when I replace it with a 255. As long as you have a good tire, it doesn't matter what you run, you'll be fine.

What size rim and what tire have a lot to do with that. Better tires and or small rim will make up for tire width and traction. You can have the widest tire in the world and still have poor perf. Many go wider when they could just sack up and buy better quality tires.

My nt05s are 255s and don't hold a candle to my 245 nt 01s.. My 245 XS have impressed me a lot more than my old 265 Azenis 615s. Just gotta find what works for you.

I agree.

My statement is coming from the fact that I went from 225s on the stock wheels to 265 Proxes R1R's on 10.5" wheels.

Oh ok, thanks..

Essentially a very similar wheel however, going from one to the other would almost be pointless lol..
