yeah i dont think i can go any lower. i only have Tein S-Tech springs right now and my front bumper scrapes too much as it is. i was worried a little about rubbing thats why i got the 265's instead of 275's. i guess i could have gotten away with 275's in the back but i like keeping all my tires the same size now.

looks great. Specs on them?

I think side skirts and a CF hood would compliment your ride very well

Bryan (deedub) didn't start it...

But I'm surprised Money pit got rid of em, he bugged me about those wheels every day for like a week and a half straight lol.

Mines are going to be up fs too along with most of the stuff on my car, totally switching it up, or hopefully getting rid of this headache all together.. lol

And the fitment on that bumper is kinda crazy, a buddy of mine here at the shop who does paint and body (more experience than I have) was wondering if it is fully bolted on, he said he doesn't see that bumper being able to even be properly fitted if it is distorted to that degree..

its ziptied on, and my fenders weren't rolled, so I kept hitting the part near the bumper and the fender, and it loosened it to that degree. It's not that bad, but fitment still sucks normally the sides are flush with the bumper but the clear corners dont go in all the way. can't complain for something I got for free lol. On another note pulled the fenders lightly today, put black center caps on, went on an sprinted drive in a 1 miles long dragon like road lol. No rubbing woot.

and I think only T-rex and me have this setup on the 8.

Now I do, it clears fine with a roll, would suggest getting 255/40 instead. 245 is too little tire they cave in when your going near the limit.

Once you try to decently lower it is where the problems will begin. I can see the rubbing damage on the tires in the pictures.

One annoying issue I STILL have been dealing with is the stupid side markers up front rub the tire on hard bumps... Haven't figured a way around it without getting rid of the markers, then again I haven't tried very hard to figure it out lol...

^Yeah that happens to me too, but only when I didn't pay attention driving the car up the driveway. I'm sure grinding a small part near that bumper clear corner area will solve that.

I want to go lower really bad, but this is the lowest setting on tein flex. What other part can make it lower? might get some rca's if I can find them.

still has like 1/2 a finger gap all around

Shorter springs from sprint to drop lower I tell you!

FOr one reason or another the sidemarkers aren't really giving me trouble. I did ziptie my fenders connection points and dremel down the 2 that stuck out the most + a small portion of the bumper connecting point but otherwise not much has happened. Maybe I just don't drive over big enough bumps, lol. For me the real pain was the REAR!

learn man, if you go to drift events, a lot of drift run stretch tires.
reason of running stretch tires is to stiffen up the sidewall.

19X10 +24, 3mm spacer at rear

trust me, 19" wheels are harder to fit, unless you raise your car. for the SSR SP1, i've had 18X10 and 19X10 same offset on my car before, both have 3mm spacer at rear.
with the 18" it never rub, with 19" i need to trim some parts for it not to rub. But 19" looks way better.

My new wheels are coming.....soon!
