Only curious, but what do aftermarket bumpers have to do with aggressive fitment?

^well I have a buddy down here that has rubbing issues because the plastic on the rear bumper is to far inset. normally would never cause a rub.

other than that there really isnt a damn thing. Maybe the tsunami because of the no side markers when you get really aggressive.

I was asking cause the stock bumper has OEM holes for the push ins and the rmagic (at least the one i have now, idk about the one ill get in a few days) didnt have holes for the push ins so i had to drill holes and zip tie etc. getting to be a hassle and dont wanna drill into the new bumper if i can just take the fender liner out

i will give my opinion on this

if you are really low and daily drive it is inevitable that you will hit the corners of the bumper depending how far they stick out. me, i have found it is easier to drill holes in the fender liner and use zipties so that there is some play in that the bumper can hinge up a little bit when it hits the floor coming out of driveways. if your bumper fits "perfectly" and the fasteners cannot move they will just snap off, or possibly rip that portion of your bumper on a bigger hit. also, i think the zipties are weaker than the fastener clips so the zipties will snap before your bumper will.

just my experience

bottom front, imagine when you are angling turning right out of a driveway and the drivers side scrapes along the ground

All cleaned up and dropped....

So far only a small rub on the rears when I hit the speed-bump of death in front of my house, the scrapping sound of the cat is much louder :wallbash

Hmm, I don't hate it.

Maybe an MS Spoiler would be a logical move to avoid the $$$ to fix trunk.

There is a good chance the trunk will still need to be painted when swapping to the MS wing. The holes will line up for the MS wing but the damage the OEM spoiler leaves will not buff out.

Fixing the trunk would cost a lot less than an Authentic MS spoiler. Just take Nukes Vertex wing as payment for storage

never-mind that would be dickish, I seriously hope he is alright.

Not where I live. To weld the holes shut and paint inside and outside cost $900+!

Wow. I had Hoss-05's entire side (door and fender damage) and front bumper prepped and painted for $1200.00 at a place that caters to the Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, and Audi dealer

I had 3 shops quote me anywhere from $850-$970 to weld and paint the trunk. Thankfully I found someone to swap with

That's way too much pdx, I mean theoretically you could bondo and sand the trunk yourself, then spend $250-350 on paint at a shop. But then again it's not welded.

I agree which is why I never paid it. It would have been less expensive to buy a used trunk with no holes and have it painted.

Forgot mention it was for all the holes in the trunk (badges and spoiler)

Cost me $100 for the badge holes to be filled in. It was getting painted anyways.

Kane, looks better at this height! I say grind out a part of the speedbump

Next mods? Paint the fender vents black again, and go either wingless, MS, or RB :P
