I am pretty sure someone has gone a big lip before. Maybe they just aren't posting any. Tilt has ran some aggressive sizing and those sizes would produce a good amount of lippage
Its styled off the Burnout Type II but not the real deal, the difference can be seen in the definition of the crease thatcontacts the lower portion of the bumper, the Burnout is a very crisp well defined edge, the one shown(suspect ebay) has a less defined gradual slope that has a larger radius

EDIT-oops didnt see the post from the owner,

^ True. I didn't look at it that close. There are just so many Burnout styled lips out there on Ebay that look alike with a quick glance.

which? the Burnout lip or the ebay lip?

I know my old CF Burnout lip is extremely strong, the ebay lip I think is a duraflex material, so its strong in a sense that its "gummy" or rubbery, it gives/flexes alot.

To install it, do you have to have the front bumper lip from the RX-8 Appearance Package or with out? By the looks of it, it's flimsy!

you replace all front lips (appearance package or regular air dam) with the new lip

The splitter just slips over the front as long as you don't have the airdam. It's a very simple fix but I really need mine up on a ramp so I can get right under it and really secure it as it's sagging a little at the front.

It's not a hard material but very durable and will easily withstand some serious scraping. It managed to arrive with me in the UK with no packaging whatsoever without doing any damage at all to it. It's like a bendy rubber, I guess if you were going to paint it then it wouldn't be too bad. I was planning a sticker bomb but my main priority is to get it on better and lower the car a little more.

Got some more pictures, you can really see how high the car sits now..

not true, you need the regular air dam. i have the shine lip and it just slides right over the oem air dam. all you need are 2 screws for the side and 3m tape.

Grace Excel... maybe if you show up to one of our meets you can see the lip in person on my car.

What I will be doing is putting together a pretty big splitter up front...and have this as the top portion of it.

Was really looking at the Shine Auto One...ebay one looks similar...i was just hoping for something that can flex a little so that it doesn't break/crack.

was thinking of ordering a bunch of Shine auto ones...I dunno...lol

I almost put a down payment on them but they only come in matte black or gloss black. I do not want to do the all black look so I'm waiting to see if they come in other colors.

They practically look exactly like Forgestar F14's that quite a few of us have.

1. F14s are split 7 spoke
2. I have been wanting these wheels before F14s arrived on 8club

Which is why I stated practically. I don't care if they came before or after, just saying they both look identical in design basically minus 1 split spoke
