Yea Im actually looking to get winter tires, what size should I get for the 8 with the GT package? (I know nothing about tires) I am going to call the mechanic with the specs so he can locate a set for me, I want to use them on the current wheels...

some of us have run up to 295/30-18 for race tires, they flatten out under high lateral cornering loads, but you'll only run on the center part for daily use and lower grip street compound
Hoosier 285/30-18 has almost become the Stock autox class standard
and this thread is old, next do a more thorough search and in the appropriate forum (for race tires search the Competition area)

Sorry for the late reply.
Anywho, no, under normal driving with stock suspension there isn't a chance of rubbing. However, I drove three guys* home from the bar and did notice fender rub when accelerating and turning at the same time.
Note, my read springs and shocks are old and in need of replacement plus I had a full tank of gas plus four 225+lb guys in the car.
