08 sti wheels will not fit rx8
i just found out this by the hard way.
i got some 08 sti wheels, the 5 spokes one. they look just like the rx8 wheels. i needed because one of my wheel was leaking air so i got those sti wheels for really cheap.
the lug pattern and offset everything fits well. BUT one thing i forgot was the hub. the hub does not fit on the rx8. sti has a smaller hub. so darn it.
dont make the same mistake, so i guess no subaru wheels on rx8

Having a machine shop bore it out would be his best option and I know a few people who have done it with no issues.The 5 spoke STI wheels are pretty damn heavy at 26lbs for an 8.5in wide rim, but if you got em cheap and like how they look I suppose it's worth it to bore em out.

Subarus are actually 56.1. Getting rid of 11mm with sandpaper wouldn't be that fun Having a machine shop bore it out would be his best option and I know a few people who have done it with no issues.
