please help me out with this...

Hi guys,

I tried searching for a couple of days now but I can't seem to find the answer to my questions. I want pictures of someone who uses 19" rims and lower their car using lowering spring of at least 1.75-2" but to no avail.

I am planning to use lowering spring to lower my car. But, the problem is, I don't want to have wheel gap more than 1 finger for F and R. Another problem is, I don't want to buy coilover.

so, I have this wheel 19x8.5 +35 245/35/19 F and 19x9.5 +40 275/30/19 R
currently, I have H&R spring that lower ~1.25" F and R. My question is, how many fingers of wheel gap will I have if i am going to use that spring.

another option is, I can buy another set of sprint spring that lower the car for ~2" . If I use that spring, how many fingers of wheel gap that I am going to have?

I currently haven't install my wheels, in case I need to buy that Sprint Springs, I could save me labor cost so that I don't have to change back and forth.

please help me, with my rims and tires set up, what springs i have to use in order to minimized the wheel gap(1 finger wheel gap). I don't mind if I have to roll my fenders

Thank you very much

sprint never made the best spring, just get some Tein stechs, or Tein coilovers. Tein this and Tein that, Tein this and that, its all about tein teinteinteintein or put 24inch gold rims on your 8, lol j/k

H&R's are typically pretty low too but I think there are guys running 20's so i don't see why not but yours are pretty wide.

The RSR springs and the Megan Racing springs will give you the lowest drop. Now, performance is another topic. Also, the lower the spring, the more force is applied to the stock strut. So start saving to buy new struts within 10K miles.

All in all, you should save for coilovers. You will get the drop you WANT and they will last the life of the car (depending on brand name)

That works, but just make sure you aren't to rough on the car of you will do as Jedi said and ruin your stock struts. They are not cheap (of course nothing is "cheap" anyways with the 8)
