2004 only, but they also have to install the rest of their software flash as far as I know.

Do you have another key? Might be worth a try...sometimes the keys quit working for whatever reason

There is no easy way to disable the immobilizer. It is integrated into the CAN bus and ECU. I think Racing Beat can remove it in some early ECU's.... so it is possible.... but you have to send it to them to be done. I also think they discontinued doing it??
i have 2 keys, however mine doesn't have the fob its a keyed ignition 😐
would it be possible to fix by swapping the ecu?

You can’t just swap in an ecu. It has to be flashed and setup by the dealership. You might as well just have them address the immobilizer instead, which will likely cost less. Or send it to Racing Beat to be flash tuned and have the immobilizer defeated per Dan’s post.

I seem to recall that it kills fuel too. Otherwise someone could just jumper the starter wiring to hot start it, but am not 100% sure. Somebody who knows will likely reply.

quick question. I happened to find an unmarried cobb AP, i know its obviously capable of tuning, but would i be able to defeat the immobilizer with it too?
