what tool to remove AEM MAF sensor

what tool is needed to remove the maf sensor? ive tried my tamper proof torx bits and none of them seem to fit..where can i get it and can i rent it at autozone or advance?

I always like to have a spare Oring around as well just in case

not thread jacking on purpose but wcs, where is the best place to get those. my autozone does not have them that mall and im sure the one i lost is affecting my idle

I have gotten them from a plumbing supplier for free, but they don't seem to be the same quality.

The last few I purchased from Mazda. I think they charged 9$ cdn each.

he might be asking because some aftermarket intake systems use a allen key (AEM/MS for one) instead of the oem phillips screws. I too never found the "right" size in my toolbox, but a small flat head works just as well.

Yeah I just used the stock screws on my AEM intake as well. Phillips head.

yes my bad i should have specified.. i have an aem 485r intake and it has the same screws as paimon.soror's

Treat the maf gently. Search a little and you will find what is the better cleaning chemical/stuff.
