What causes Limp mode?
Pretty straight forward, what are the possible causes of limp mode for the RX-8?
As i understand it can be one of a few things, MAF, TB, OMP or Front HO2S.
Am i correct on that front?
Next, what causes each of these to cause limp mode?
MAF: I know i've gotten some codes for the MAF before and have not gone into limp mode, so are there certain codes that will cause it and others won't?
I have the same queston about the other engine components listed above and if there are any other conditions that might cause the situation.
Thanks in advance!!!

MAF, TB, Front O2 I think are all related to closed loop. Kinda hard for it to reliably read off of fuel and timing tables if air and afr are fugged up.
OMP -- likely based on an under/over volt situation. There are a few threads about it I've skimmed over the years.
