Yesterday, I noticed a very small amount of red fluid on my garage from when my car (2004 RX8) was parked. I think this is transmission fluid but some have told me steering fluid due the leak being on the passenger seat side of the car. The leak is very small and only happens when the car is parked. I don't know if it's coming from the gasket or what. Can someone inform me on what the problem is? I appreciate all of your help

 

No steering fluid....Unless you have an AT the fluid won't be red either

 

It is an AT unfortunetly :S

 

Have a look and see if you can see where it is leaking from. I am not familiar with the AT on this car...but you may find a switch or solenoid is leaking...or just the pan gasket...or a seal

A few drips isn't a big deal...but keep an eye on your fluid level
