Weird Electrical Problem - Random switch triggers

I've seen people ask about this but nobody knows what's wrong or how to fix it. I was driving in the rain and my hazards turns on a little and shut off then flickered a few more times then stayed on. They were making a terrible buzzing sound too. I had to unplug the fuse to shut it off. When I locked the car the horn then stayed on the whole time until I pulled that fuse out. I now have no horn or turn signals and I have to drive to school tommorow. Also the trunk randomly pops itself. I did just instal a Kenwood double din and metra headunit kit. Any help is appreciated

Weird electrical problems are pretty much always a grounding problem. Sounds like a grounding problem under the dash, since each component runs through there, and with just installing an aftermarket audio, I would bet that you did something wrong there.

yes thats what other people said but these problems happened before the install... they happened a long time ago the trunk would pop and the alarm would go off after a big rain, and the other thing is that i didnt JUST install it an this happened... I have been driving it daily for about 3 weeks now with no problems... we had alot of rain yesterday and today and i was reading the water caused some problems just like this

Looks like you should get a wiring diagram and see if those circuits all meet up someplace in a harness...or possibly you have gotten the relays wet in the fuse box..... I think they are all part of the security system...so it could be the module

It was kinda a red herring for you to mention the radio install if it wasn't doing it right away

haha yes i should have said that it didnt cause the problems right away! sorry, i am still thinking of taking it apart just to make sure nothing is pinched or wired wrong. I will say that everywhere i read i keep reading about it being cause of water but nobody ever says actually how to fix it. After i unplugged both fuses, i drove home and let it sit for a while. i plugged the fuses back in and everything worked fine no problems. i drove it around a little (not raining but the roads were definantly still wet) and all of a sudden the hazards started being weird again but only for a little then were fine. I almost am thinking it dried out when sitting, so it worked fine. and when i drove some water got into something and messed it up again (maybe). ill see what happens with it tommorow when i drive it more.

Aside from the radio, does the car have any other aftermarket electronics installed?
Has the car ever been in a wreck, or had flood damage?
Even been stolen, and then recovered?
How about repossessed?

BC.

yes it was hit twice actually, once from the previous owner, and once a lady hit me but it wasnt to bad just a new fender and bumper from the insursnce company! but that was a long time ago and never had any symptoms anywhere near the accidents. The most recent thing i have done was the headunit about 3 weeks ago, and before that an exhaust but that was months ago. So thats why i am confused, nothing has been done like yesterday or VERY recently the mess something up

Corrosion is slow in its evil plans.

You need to start hunting down every single ground point on the car and clean up the connections. I would recommend starting at the points in and around the accident zones.
