does your abs work?
i'm having trouble with my ABS. It engages but it engages too late (full second or two after the car starts sliding). I ruled out everything. module and ECU are matching. Wiring is all good. Brake switch works. I have no ABS light.
now i'm thinking maybe ECU needs input from the engine other than the tach. Does anyone here with a swap have working ABS without issues? anyone have similar problem? thanks all.

Pistons Please
I have been told that the Bosch ABS system in the RX8 can be programmed to run as a stand alone system. I havent dug any further myself, or tried to verify the fact, but may be worth looking into.
ABS does not function in my car at the moment, but its helping me learn threshold braking at the track

it is a standalone system. it controls solenoids with inputs from 4 wheel sensors. it also sends speedo info to your ecu.
it also communicates with ecu to confirm they came from the same car which I find stupid coming from consumer's point of view.
threshold braking is fun until you pass the threshold on soft tires.
