Waring light: Headlight auto level and squeaky clutch pedal

1) My headlight auto level warning light is on 90% of the time. The dealer has replaced the rear ride height sensor but the problem remains. The car is due back for another round of trouble-guessing. Has anyone had this problem solved?

2) My clutch pedal squeaks near the bottom of its travel. The dealer has replaced the assembly and applied lube but the squeak remains. Any ideas?

Thanks

Auto level light was fixed today with a new sensor.

The clutch pedal assembly was lubricated again but the squeak remains. The tech working on the car wrote that he had the shop foreman confirm that the squeak was fixed. APPARENTLY THEY ARE ALL DEAF.

There are 4 possible sources of noise that I found, the pedal pivots, the clutch cylinder, and 2 switches---in my case a push rod on the lower switch was making the noise and some silicone grease quieted it.
You have to get right into the footwell and identify the source for your car.

I have it too, last time my car was in they lubricated it and it went away for a couple of thousand miles. It's due for it's first service so I'll just get them to lube it again.

I crawled ainto the footwell with my troublelight and relocated some of the silicone grease that they liberally applied to my clutch pedal assembly onto the switches and clutch cylinder and the squeak is gone (at least for now!).

my dealer replaced the lower switch 2000 miles ago and I haven't heard a squeak since.

I posted at a other thread about the squeak problem, mine also has it.But also my thrust bearing is very noisy, it always was but I think now a bit more, especially if you release the clutch.I can feel a roughness(griding) in the pedal (feedback) when pressing and especially when depressing the clutch pedal, besides the squeak.

Is this common, is it the thrust bearing at clutch or the gearbox?

Thanks guys

Philip
